Record Breaking Kaira

Over the weekend 26th October - 29th October, Kaira competed for Dover Lifeguard Swimming Club as part of the Kent Weald Swim Team at the Swim England National Masters Swimming Championships.
It was a busy three days of racing, with 5 individual races and 5 relays, winning a total of 5 medals: 1 gold for the 4 x 200m Freestyle Relay, 2 silvers for the 4 x 100m Medley Relay and 4 x 50m Medley Relay, and 2 bronze medals for the 4 x 100m Freestyle Relay as well as the individual 200m Butterfly race when she also broke her own Kent record and clocked a new personal best time. She broke 2 more Kent records, breaking her own record in the 200m Breaststroke and then in the 400m IM she took 13 seconds off her personal best and broke the Kent record by 58 seconds. She also recorded a personal best in the 100m Butterfly and was just outside her time on the 50m Butterfly.
