KJL is a team event for which elligible swimmers are selected by the coaching team to represent the club. There are restrictions about how many events individual swimmers can be selected to compete, in general the fastest swimmers take part in each event. Team selection will be advised separately. The age groups are 9/10 years, 11 and under, 12 and under, 13 and other age being taken as at December 31st 2023. The League itself  consist of three rounds, which shall be in March, June and September - the current league standing after Round 1 appears below. 

Dover are hosting Round 2 of Kent Junior League on the evening of Saturday June 24th. As host club we will require a small team of volunteers to assist with the smooth running of the gala.
For his sins, Rob Nicholas is acting as Chief Steward and will coordinate the team and act as the promoter of the gala on behalf of the league. He has already put out an appeal for volunteers but he will be looking for:

â–ª Announcer - 1
â–ª Recorders - 2
â–ª Admissions desk and reaffle- 2
â–ª Drinks distribution for officials – 1 or 2
â–ª Runner (if required) - 1

Whilst the gala starts at 1800hrs please plan to arrive at the pool at 1700hrs to give you time to get changed and warm up.
