Club Role Descriptions

As you know our Club is a Charity, managed by an Executive Committee (volunteers) whose members are selected by the Club’s Membership at the AGM each year. We are reliant solely on volunteers and we need and would love for all parents/guardians to get involved and help move the club forward. One key volunteer role is Poolside Helpers - no experience is necesssary and you would only need to give up an hour or two of your time on the days when your child swims.

From time to time, for one reason or another, positions become vacant and whilst we’re fortunate to have committee members willing to cover the posts on a temporary basis, we do need to fill the positions on a long-term basis.

Volunteer Role Descriptions are detailed below so that if you are interested in putting yourself forward for one of these roles when they become vacant or prior to the AGM please take a look – these documents are designed by Swim England (formerly The ASA) but they give a very good overview of the roles and their responsibilities as well as the personal skills and qualities required.
