Open Water - Brighton Pier to Pier

Well done to our team of open water swimmers who took part in the Brighton Pier to Pier 1K race on Sat 12 July. Sea conditions were fair and swimmers battled against a strong current. There was plenty of sunshine throughout the day.
Swimmers were Lewis Young (24mins 58), Luis Corbo (25mins 32), Ben Hall (42mins 44), Guy Proctor (43mins11),Jonathon Porter (DNF), Alex harding (37mins 35), Katie Fidock (50mins 45) & Sarah Hall (55mins 52).
Great team spirit and wonderful to see DLGC so well represented through junior,senior & masters catagories.
