Competitive Swimming Squad
We have a strong competitive team of swimmers, ranging from 10 years and under, through to 16 year olds and above. Find out more about competitive swimming at Dover Life Guard Club here.
Learn to Swim Programme
The Club offers swimming lessons to children of all ages who have passed their Stages 1-7 and wish to continue to participate in the ASA Learn to Swim Awards Scheme - Stages 8-10 including Distance Awards. Find out more about our Learn to Swim programme here.
Lifesaving
We are currently developing Lifesaving Training Programmes in association with the Royal Lifesaving Society (RLSS). We also offer Rookie Lifeguard Training for children age 11 and over. Find out more about Lifesaving Training here.
Masters
Our Masters Swimming Section for Senior/Adult Swimmers aims to meet a range of fitness or competitive goals of swimmers. We also offer Junior Masters for young people age 13-18. Find out more about our Masters swimming here.
Open Water
We have a long established Long Distance /Open Water Swimming section, which is active during the spring/summer months in Dover Harbour. Open water swimming is available to both non-competitive and competitive swimmers from age 11 upwards, as well as Channel Swimmers. Find out more about our Open Water Swimming here.
Water Polo
Whilst we do not currently have a Team, we are looking to develop a new Dover Water Polo Team as part of Dover Life Guard Club to compete at Kent, Regional and Great Britain level. Please get in touch if you feel you can help build a Water Polo Team and drive this discipline forward.
