Played over the course of the evening with all clubs in the Kent League competing, Dover played extremely well to reach the final against Bexley where they were eventually beaten. Having three Olympians in the team, Bexley were worthy winners but the Dover Team should be extremely proud of their efforts.

Dover Water Polo is a section of Dover Life Guard Club and has a proud history stretching back many years with players representing Kent, Regional and Great Britain age groups. In 2013 DWP entered the National League becoming the first Kent League club to play at this level. 

Water Polo is a physically demanding Olympic sport combining ball, swimming skills, and teamwork. It offers the opportunity for swimmers of all ages to continue within a sport which offers competition, success and a strong social side.

We are currently looking for new players of all ages starting from 12 years, or younger if you are a strong swimmer. If you are interested in joining one of our teams or maybe getting involved in the club in some other way please feel free to contact us.
