About Dover Life Guard Club
Dover Life Guard Club is a friendly swimming club, founded in 1886 (Dover Swimming Club) and registered as a Charity in 1975 (Registered Charity Number 270111).
The Club is managed by a volunteer-based Executive Committee and run by a support team of volunteers. We are based in Dover, currently at Dover District Leisure Centre run by Places Leisure, and are open to people of all ages and abilities, teaching swimming, lifesaving, competititive and open water and long distance swimming skills.
The Club is here to support and develop its swimmers through to whatever they aspire to achieve in swimming.
